Jim Overbeck has spent his entire career working to help solve customer issues in the IT industry. His last 21 years have been solely focused on Information Security where he has served as a consultative leader providing solutions to organizations of all sizes. After creating the network security group at CDW Jim spent several years with security consulting firms and ultimately landed at Fortinet in January, 2004. Jim is the VP of Sales for the Central U.S. and also manages the Retail vertical for Fortinet. Over the last 16 years his leadership has helped Fortinet grow from a $10M start-up to an industry leader with more than $2B in annual revenue. He graduated from Miami University’s Richard T. Farmer School of Business with a Management Information Systems degree and currently resides in Cincinnati with his wife and 3 boys.
